Patty J. Birkle Sellers, 70, of Aurora, Indiana, passed away Tuesday July 30, 2019 in Aurora, Indiana.
She was born November 30, 1948 in Milan, IN, daughter of the late Hubert Birkle and Norma (Block) Birkle.
Patty worked as a Nurses Aide for Dearborn County Hospital.
Patty grew up in Manchester and then graduated from Moores Hill in 1966. Earlier in life, Patty loved to paint with water color, cake decorating, going to flea markets and flower gardening. Patty was a ‘shopper’, and she also loved vacations, especially her trip out west. Time spent with her family was her greatest joy, especially time with her sons.
Patty is survived by her loving and loyal husband of 52 years, James “Ed” Sellers, sons, Jason and Robert Sellers both of Aurora, IN; sisters, Brenda Brown of Florence, KY, Rosela (Don) Baker of Lawrenceburg, IN; sister-in-law, Geraldine (Frank) McGinnis of Dillsboro, IN; brother-in-law, Frank Cantwell of Aurora, IN; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Charles & Bill Birkle; sisters, Wanda Crider and Betty McMullins.
Friends will be received Friday, August 2, 2019, 12:00 pm – 2:00 pm at the Rullman Hunger Funeral Home, 219 Mechanic Street, Aurora, Indiana.
Services will be held at 2:00 pm following visitation with Pastor Kenny Hopper officiating.
Interment will follow in the Mt. Sinai Cemetery, Aurora, Indiana.
