(Statehouse) – State Rep. Lindsay Patterson (R-Brookville) welcomed Batesville resident Austin Balser to the Statehouse, where he participated in the Indiana House Page Program during the 2026 legislative session.
Balser is a student at Batesville High School.
“The House Page Program is a fantastic opportunity for students to see state government in action and better understand how decisions are made at the Statehouse,” Patterson said. “I was glad to welcome Austin and appreciate his interest in learning more about the legislative process.”
During his day as a page, Balser interacted with lawmakers and session staff, toured the Statehouse and joined Patterson on the House floor to watch the legislation process in action.
