Patricia Sue “Pat” (Knebel) Billiter, 82, of Aurora passed away Thursday, May 30, 2024 at Ohio’s Hospice of Butler and Warren Counties. Pat was born on Sunday, November 16, 1941 in Jasper, Indiana; daughter of Sylvester and Maleta (Campbell) Knebel. Pat married the love of her life, Bob Billiter on December 17, 1999, and he preceded her on October 21, 2023. She worked with plants and had her own interior plant business for many years. She was a member of the Sparta Baptist Church and president of the Milan Community Senior Citizen Club. She loved to work outside in her flowers and taking care of the birds. She also enjoyed reading, traveling, going on cruises, and sewing. Most of all she cherished spending time with her family, especially her great-grandchildren. She will be greatly missed but is at peace now. She is rejoicing with the Lord. No more tears or sorrow!
Pat is survived by her daughter Sarah (Karl) Roth of Miamisburg, Ohio; sister Priscilla “Jeane” Reynolds of Indianapolis; granddaughter Rachel Abplanalp; and great-granddaughters Jenna and Jaclyn Abplanalp.
Pat was preceded in death by her parents Sylvester and Maleta Knebel and husband Bob Billiter.
Family and friends may gather in remembering Pat from 11:00 AM- 1:00 PM, Tuesday, June 4, 2024 at the Laws-Carr-Moore Funeral Home in Milan. A service will follow at 1:00 PM, with Pastor Rick Burcham officiating. Burial will follow at Hogan Hill Cemetery. Memorials may be given in honor of Pat to St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
