SOUTHEASTERN IN — Portions of Southeastern Indiana were under a tornado warning Wednesday afternoon after National Weather Service radar indicated rotation.
That prompted the warning for northern Ripley, southern Franklin, and northwestern Dearborn counties.
The storm weakened and the warning was canceled a few minutes before it was set to expire.
There were reports of hail in southern Decatur County around Letts and Westport, but local law enforcement says the area was spared any storm-related damage.
A severe thunderstorm watch that was in effect last evening for Franklin County was dropped several hours before it was set to expire.
