The Indiana Pacers have moved on from Chris Duarte. Yesterday, the Pacers traded the 26-year-old guard to the Sacramento Kings for two second-round picks, sources told ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski.
The Pacers will receive a 2028 second-round pick (via Dallas) and Sacramento’s 2030 second-round pick.
Duarte was the 13th pick in the 2021 NBA Draft. In his rookie season, he averaged 13.1 points and 4.1 rebounds.
An ankle injury and the emergence of rookies Andrew Nembhard and Bennedict Mathurin caused him to fall out of the rotation last season. Duarte played in 46 games, averaging 7.9 points per game.
