P. Mitch Bergman

P. “Mitch” Bergman, 56 of Milan of Milan passed away Wednesday January 20, 2016 at Decatur County Memorial Hospital in Greensburg. Mitch was born Thursday September 17, 1959 in Lawrenceburg the son of Ken and Ginny (Asche) Bergman. Mitch was a member of the Hope Baptist Church. He worked at the Gap in Florence, KY for 15 years. Mitch enjoyed watching sports especially IU basketball and the Colts. Mitch loved spending time with his family and friends.
Mitch is survived by son: Dakota Bergman of Cincinnati, Step-son: Robbie (Kelly) LaFollette of Aurora, Step-daughter: Cara (George) Hackney of Milan, Parents: Ken and Ginny Bergman of Milan, Brothers: Doug (Jackie) Bergman, Chris (Lora) Bergman, Steven (Wendy) Bergman all of Milan, Sisters: Kendra Roberts of Dillsboro, Melissa (Jeff) Ollman of Milan. 5 Grandchildren: Brayden Cutter, Carson, Eli, Tyler Hackney, James Scott LaFollette, many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife: Debbie Bergman March of 2015.
Funeral services will be at 12:00PM Saturday January 23, 2016 at Hope Baptist Church 15593 US 50 Dillsboro, IN 47018, with Pastor Tom Holt officiating. Burial will follow in Oakdale Cemetery in Dillsboro. Visitation will be 10AM until time of service. Memorials may be made to the Family.
