SEYMOUR – More roadwork begins this weekend across Southeastern Indiana as INDOT plans to refurbish the reflective pavement markers that help define travel lanes for motorists.
Thousands of reflector lenses will be installed on interstate highways during nighttime hours beginning Sunday, August 24
INDOT officials ask drivers to be alert for lighted message boards that direct traffic around moving work sites.
Work will be done through September along these routes:
- I-65 from the Johnson-Marion County line to the Kennedy Bridge in Clark County
- I-64 from State Road 135 near Corydon to the Spring Street ramp at New Albany
- I-74 from the Decatur-Shelby County line to the Indiana-Ohio state line
- I-264 from I-64 to the ramps at S.R. 62
- I-275 mainline and connector ramps
Reflector refurbishing will also be done on S.R. 37 RPMs in Monroe County.
