Authorities in Ripley County are trying to figure out what led to a single vehicle accident this weekend.
Deputies responded to a crash resulting in injuries on CR 750 east, south of Milan, just after 4:00 a.m. Sunday.
Police said Zachary Taylor, 23, of Milan, was operating a 1999 Ford F-350 along with two passengers when the truck traveled off of the road on the left side and collided with a tree.
Emergency personnel transported Taylor to Margaret Mary Health for treatment of lacerations and internal injuries, police said. Also, Courtney Taylor, 21, of Milan, and Kenton Graham, 23, of Versailles, were sent to the hospital for medical treatment.
Deputies said seatbelts were not used at the time of the crash. The accident remains under investigation and police believe alcohol may be a contributing factor.
