Congratulations to local athletes who garnered top honors in this week’s ORVC Report.
Jac-Cen-Del’s Brooklyn Simon and Emily Voss from Milan are the Volleyball Co-Players of the Week.
Simon notched a 77 percent serving rate, four aces, and 36 kill assists in two matches, and recorded her 1,000th career assist.
Voss successfully served at 98 percent, had 15 aces, 16 kills, four blocks, 32 kill assists and 19 digs last week. She notched her 1,000th career assist earlier this year.
Milan’s Lucas Cooney is the Boys Cross Country Runner of the Week.
Cooney finished with times of 16:57 at the Ripley County Meet and 17:08 at the East Central Invitational.
And Bryson Sipples from South Ripley is the Co-Player of the Week in Boys Soccer.
Sipples scored three goals and had an assist vs. Hauser.
