The Ohio River Valley Conference has released its weekly report for the period ending December 3.
Congratulations to ORVC Performers of the Week from Ripley County schools.
Dylan Thomas from Milan was named the Performer of the Week in Boys Swimming, while Elizabeth McKittrick from South Ripley and Milan’s Ariel Haessig shared the honors in Girls Swimming.
Thomas set a new school record in the 100-yard backstroke with a time of :56.48.
He also had the best time in the 200-yard IM at 2:12.22
McKittrick set a school record in the 50-yard freestyle with a time of :26.37.
Haessig notched a time of 1:06.21 in the 100-yard backstroke and 2:31.60 in the 200-yard IM.
Other performances of note during the week:
Jac-Cen-Del girls basketball player Olivia Neal scored 30 points, pulled down 15 rebounds, and recorded four steals in two games.
She also had a double-double vs. South Dearborn.
Jac-Cen-Del boys basketball player Matt Dickman poured in 22 points, grabbed 21 boards, dished out four assists, and blocked four shots in two games.
