The Ohio River Valley Conference has released its weekly report for the period ending April 29.
Congratulations to all area athletes who achieved Player/Performer of the Week honors in the ORVC.
Earning Softball Player of the Week honors was Milan’s Kynadee Bode. At the plate, she had 3 home runs and 4 RBI. On the mound, she struck out 21 in 18 and a third innings pitched.
In boys track, Milan’s Ben Riehle and Ayden Potts were Co-Performers of the Week. Riehle had top performances in the 100m dash (11.50), 200m dash (22.96), and the 400m dash (50.93). Potts had conference-best performances in the 800m run (2:05.70), 1600m run (4:48.08), 3200m run (10:34.99).
Receiving performer of the week honors in girls track was South Ripley’s Emily Flood . Flood had top performances in the 100m dash (12.84), 200m dash (27.65), Long Jump (15′ 1/2″), and High Jump (4’10”).
