Open testing begins today for the Indianapolis 500. It’s the first chance for drivers and teams to get a feel for what they have for the Month of May. Testing will last about six hours each day both today and tomorrow. It’s also a chance for any drivers needing refreshers or rookie orientation to get that knocked out. After testing, the series will re-focus on the season at hand as they take on Barber Motorsports Park in Alabama next weekend.
