(Cross Plains, IN) – One person was sent to the hospital following a two-vehicle crash at the intersection of State Roads 129 and 62 in Cross Plains Sunday afternoon.
The Friendship Volunteer Fire Department says when they arrived on the scene around 2:40 p.m., the drivers and passengers had already exited the wrecked vehicles.
A passenger in one of those vehicles was treated on site before being transported by Ripley County EMS.
The cause of the accident remains under investigation.
State Road 129 was closed for a short time while the vehicles were being removed.
Ripley County Sheriff’s deputies and Indiana State Police also responded to the scene.
