(Vevay, IN) – Oldenburg Academy went on the road and knocked off Switzerland County 12-3 in varsity baseball on Saturday.
Twisters senior Zach Hoff tossed a complete game. Hoff gave up five hits, three runs (one earned), walked two and struck out five Pacers.
Connor Holder led the OA offense, going 3 for 5 with two singles and a home run.
Holder’s dinger broke the Twisters’ homerless streak, which stretched back to the 2021 sectional when Andrew Oesterling touched them all.
The Twisters welcome Union County to Ace Moorman Field at Batesville’s Liberty Park on Monday at 5:30. This is a change in the schedule: Triton Central was originally scheduled to provide the opposition for OA but has to make up a conference game.
