Nyssa Rayne Campos, age 20 Greensburg

Nyssa Rayne Campos, age 20, of Greensburg, tragically lost her life on Thursday, July 24, 2025, in Greensburg.

Nyssa entered the world early on August 11, 2004, at Children’s Hospital in Cincinnati, the beloved daughter of Tony R. Campos and Raychel Davis. She grew up in the Napoleon community alongside her siblings and graduated from Jac-Cen-Del High School with the Class of 2023.

Following graduation, Nyssa moved to Greensburg and began working at Jimmy John’s Sub Shop. She had a deep love for her family and friends and enjoyed spending time with them. Nyssa had a creative soul—she loved writing stories and drawing animations. She also had a passion for learning about the ocean and was fascinated by the biological workings of the underwater world. In her quiet moments, she found comfort in watching the Annie Mae documentary, supernatural shows, and Anime shows (My Hero Academia,with Bakugo and Black Butler with Sebastian etc.) and movies. Nyssa was also on a personal journey of exploring her faith and Christianity.

She will be deeply missed by many, especially her father Tony R. Campos, mother Raychel Davis, and stepmother Jennifer Schuler-Walker; her brother Kyle L. Campos; her sisters Cassandra N. Campos, Brianna C. Campos, Arianna R. Campos, and Brianna M. Crowell, “Mamaw” Racine Robinson, grandma Karren Firsich, grandpa Ron Baldwin, uncles Jaime Campos, Rodney Campos, and P.J. Schuler, aunts Lisa Campos Dakota Firsich and Martha House, cousins Braylon Campos, Gavin Schoonover, and XXZavien Jenkins, boyfriend Bryton Jones, niece and nephews Bentley and Brody Steinhauer, Kylie, Sammy and Lilianna Campos, and Layla, Bryant, and Theo Wilhoit.  She was preceded in death by “Papaw” Doug Robinson, Grandma Marlene Schuler, and uncle Shawn House.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 31, 2025, from 3:00–6:00 p.m. at Neal’s Funeral Home in Osgood, with funeral services immediately following at 6:00 p.m., officiated by Pastor Chad Schwering.
