The Lady Chargers Volleyball team had their season opener Monday night against Eastern Hancock High School. After a long battle to 5 sets, Eastern Hancock came out on top and took the win. The Chargers hustled for plays and had a lot of high points but couldn’t capitalize on putting the ball away enough to pull out the win.

The JV Lady Chargers competed against Eastern Hancock also on the opening night and lost in 2 sets (17-25, 24-25). The Chargers started off slow in the first set and fell behind but got in a better groove with more hustle and energy in the second set, yet they were unable to pull out the win.

The coaches are overall proud of the effort and energy that both Varsity and JV teams brought to the court! Next step is now to capitalize on those and minimize errors to bring home the wins. The Lady Chargers play next on Thursday at Lawrenceburg.
