The North Decatur Lady Chargers opened the 2023 Cross Country campian at South Decatur on Thursday, August 18 against the host Cougars, Batesville, and Greensburg. The Chargers finished in 3rd place for the meet. Leading the way for North was Dorothy Robbins with a 14th place finish and a time of24:00. Sophomore Ava Lecher (16th place 26:09) and freshman Jewel Verseman (17th place 26:10) followed Robbins in scoring for the Chargers. Lauren Miller (23rd 28:55). and freshman Madison Rohls (24th 29:46) and Emerson Gunn (25th 30:21) completed the scoring for North Decatur. The Lady Chargers had a solid meet for their first of the season and look to continue to their improvement on Saturday, August 20 at the always difficult and competitive Small School Invite.
