On Tuesday, the North Decatur boys varsity track and field team competed in a three-way meet against Morristown and Oldenburg Academy.
Morristown came away with the meet win, scoring 61 points, North Decatur finished closely in 2nd with 52 points, and Oldenburg Academy ended up in 3rd with 36 points.
At the meet, the Chargers won 1 relay and 4 individual events at the meet.
The boys 4×100 team placed first with a time of 46.71. That team comprised of Conner Linkmeyer, Marshall Snell, Mason Morris, and Kaden Muckerheide.
Caiden Gahimer won the shot put and discus. His winning throw in shot put was 41’1/4″, and his winning discus distance was 116’11”.
Ellis Loehmer claimed first in the boys high jump with a height of 6’1″ and the 110-meter hurdles with a time of 17.94.
