(Brookville, IN) – A “No Kings” protest will take place in front of the Franklin County Courthouse in Brookville tomorrow (Saturday, March 28) from 10 a.m. to Noon.
It’s one of several that will be held around Southeastern Indiana and statewide tomorrow.
Protests are also planned in Versailles, Greensburg, Rushville, Connersville, and Liberty, among other communities.
Organizers say they plan to peacefully demonstrate and voice concerns about what they call a potential loss of democracy through authoritarianism, economic inequality, and governance driven by fear or “influence of wealthy elites.”
There was no word as of Friday morning on whether counter demonstrations are planned.
