Ms. Marcia Ann Lock, age 75, of Vevay and Madison, Indiana, entered this life on July 6, 1949 in Madison, Indiana. She was the daughter of the late, Ronald W. and Marianne (Dickason) Lock. Marcia was raised in Vevay, Indiana and was a 1967 graduate of the Vevay High School. Marcia retired in March 2009 from Switzerland County Elementary School where she worked for 34 years as the cafeteria secretary. She was a member of Switzerland Baptist Church in Vevay, Indiana. After the death of her Father in 2014, Marcia moved to the Madison, Indiana community Marcia enjoyed reading, watching TV, and bowling. Family was the center of Marcia’s world. Her greatest joy came from the simple, profound moments shared with those she loved most. Marcia passed away at 7:05 a.m., Thursday, May 15, 2025, at the Norton King’s Daughters’ Hospital in Madison, Indiana.
Marcia is survived by her brothers, Kenneth R. Lock and his wife, Teri of Jenks, Oklahoma and Kevin W. Lock and his wife, Diane of Madison, Indiana; her nieces and nephews, Ben Lock and his wife, Julie, Lindsay Carrington and her husband, Justin, Trent Lock and his wife, Samantha, Brad Lock, and Troy Lock and his wife, Ashley; and her great-nieces and great-nephews, Ayden Lock, Payton Lock, Kingston Johnson, Mika Carrington, Kaia Carrington, Cyrus Lock, Charli Lock, and Griffin Lock and her cousins.
She was preceded in death by her father, Ronald W. Lock, died January 4, 2014; her mother, Marianne (Dickason) Lock, died May 23, 2012; her nephew, Dominic Lock, died January 21, 1992; her maternal-grandparents, William C. Dickason, died March 4, 1952 and Margaret (Scott) Dickason, died June 9, 1986; and her paternal-grandparents, Jesse Amos Lock, died June 1, 1943 and Helen Leota (Manuel) Lock, died December 3, 1992.
Visitation will be held from 12:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m., Monday, May 19, 2025, at the Haskell & Morrison Funeral Home, 208 Ferry Street, Vevay, Indiana 47043.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m., Monday, May, 19, 2025, by Pastor Bob Hicks, at the Haskell & Morrison Funeral Home, 208 Ferry Street, Vevay, Indiana 47043.
Interment will follow in the Vevay Cemetery, Vevay, Indiana.
