Mr. Timothy “Tim” Wolford, age 62, of Ghent, Kentucky, formerly of Vevay, Indiana passed away at 11:42 a.m., Sunday, July 25, 2021, at his residence. Tim was born on July 14, 1959 in Phelps, Kentucky to the late, Granville Lee and Norice Eulalee Wolford. He was raised in Phelps, Kentucky and attended high school in Dayton, Ohio. Tim was united in marriage to Sharon Lewis on April 4, 1996 in Greensburg, Indiana. This happy blended family was blessed with seven children, David, Jennifer, Amanda, Sarah, Laura, Cassandra and Tina. Tim and Sharon shared 25 years together until his death. Tim was an automotive mechanic in Indiana and Ohio for several years. Tim resided in the Vevay community for 13 years before moving to Ghent, Kentucky where he resided for the last two years. He loved making people laugh and spending time with his family. Tim also enjoyed tinkering on cars and fishing.
Tim will be deeply missed by his wife, Sharon (Lewis) Wolford of Ghent, KY; his children, David Lewis and his wife, Christa of Vevay, IN, Jennifer Clark and her husband, Mark of Moorefield, IN, Amanda Lewis and her companion, Justin Kelley of English, KY, Sarah Hollin and her companion, Elmer Oder of Pleasant, IN, Laura Kennedy and her husband, Earl Allen of Vevay, IN, Cassandra Wolford and her husband, Jhonda of Dayton, OH and Tina Wolford of Dayton, OH; his 15-grandchildren; his siblings, Rita “Kay” Blankenship of Greensburg, IN, Brenda Blankenship of Union, OH, Wimpie Wolford and his wife, Bernice of Phelps, KY, Jack Dotson of Dayton, OH and Michael Wolford and his wife, Cecila of Versailles, OH and his several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Granville Lee and Norice Eulalee Wolford and his brothers, Jeffery Wolford and Granville Lee “Ricky” Wolford, Jr.
Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m., Thursday, July 29, 2021, at the Haskell & Morrison Funeral Home, 208 Ferry Street, Vevay, Indiana 47043.
