Mr. Paul “Eddie” Ford

Mr. Paul “Eddie” Ford, age 77, of Madison, Indiana, formerly of Switzerland County, Indiana, entered this life on January 19, 1943 in Switzerland County, Indiana. He was the loving son of the late Dilver E. and Bessie Ann (Bennett) Ford. He was raised in Switzerland County and was a 1961 graduate of Vevay High School. Eddie attended Miller Draughon Business College and graduated with a degree in banking and finance from University of Wisconsin. Eddie was blessed to marry his sweetheart of nearly 57 years, Barbara Gail Bolden on December 14, 1963 at the Bethel United Methodist Church on Bethel Ridge in Switzerland County. Eddie served as Vice President for the Madison Bank & Trust in Madison, Indiana, from 1962 – 1998. He was a member of the North Madison Christian Church, Madison Jaycees, Madison Elks Lodge #524 and Sertoma Club. Eddie was involved in Tax-Increment Financing, an effort to start new businesses in Madison and Jefferson County, Indiana. Eddie was a former board member of the Jefferson County United Way. Eddie was an avid golfer and enjoyed all sports, reading and traveling. Eddie passed away at 10:30 a.m., Monday, December 7, 2020, at the King’s Daughters’ Hospital in Madison, Indiana.

Eddie will be deeply missed by his wife, Barbara Gail (Bolden) Ford of Madison, IN; his sister, Thelma Robinson of Crystal River, FL and his several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Dilver E. and Bessie Ann (Bennett) Ford; his brother, Harold Ford; his twin sisters, Alberta Reed and Alfredia Ford and sisters, Jeannie Crawford and Cleta Markland.

Entombment will follow in the Vevay Cemetery, Vevay, Indiana.
