Mr. Paul David Scott, age 85, of Hanover, Indiana, formerly of Vevay, Indiana, entered this life on November 22, 1934 in Florence, Indiana. He was the loving son of the late Darrell David and Bernice (Bennett) Scott. He was raised in Florence, Indiana and was a 1953 graduate of the Indiana School for the Deaf in Indianapolis, Indiana. Paul David was employed for the US Shoe Factory and as a custodian for the Switzerland County Courthouse in Vevay, Indiana. Paul David resided most of his life in the Vevay community and in the Hanover community since 2012. He enjoyed watching TV and was an avid sports fan. Paul David passed away at 11:30 a.m., Sunday, December 15, 2019, at the Hanover Nursing Center in Hanover, Indiana.
Paul David will be missed by his sister, Maxine (Scott) Witko of Streator, IL; his brother, Loren Scott and his wife, Melba of North Ogden, UT and his nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Darrell David Scott, died May 27, 1961 and Bernice (Bennett) Scott, died May 7, 1990; his half-brother, Maurice Scott and his half-sister, Norma Hill.
Funeral services will be conducted Thursday, December 19, 2019, at 11:00 a.m., by Rev. Mike Jones, at the Haskell & Morrison Funeral Home, 208 Ferry Street, Vevay, Indiana 47043.
Interment will follow in the Vevay Cemetery, Vevay, Indiana.
