(Franklin County, IN) – Flooding continues to be a problem, especially in Franklin County.
Additional heavy rains on top of already saturated ground caused more issues late Wednesday night and into early Thursday morning.
A number of roads in the county are either water covered or closed, which prompted a RED travel warning to be issued.
Someone drove into high water on Pipe Creek Road and had to be rescued. The driver told Franklin County 9-1-1 that water was up to their doors.
Crews were also called overnight to deal with flooded basements throughout the county.
Franklin County Schools were closed with E-Learning for a second straight day because of flooded roads.
