Batesville, IN — A Moment of Silence was held at the start of last night’s Batesville City Council meeting in memory of Roberta “Bobbie” Brandes. She passed away on May 28 at the age of 90. Brandes served two terms on City Council from 1992 to 1999. She was also well-known as the longtime administrative assistant at Batesville High School.
