BATESVILLE, Ind. — The East Indiana Area Health Education Center and Margaret Mary Health are again offering the Medical Scholars Academy.
The summer program is for motivated and qualified students interested in learning what it’s truly like to be a health care professional.
Students will have the chance to tour college health programs in Indianapolis, receive career counseling, shadow local clinicians, spend time in various hospital departments, and be a part of a panel discussion with current health profession students.
Upcoming high school juniors and seniors, as well as graduating seniors from schools in Margaret Mary Health’s primary service area, may apply.
Applications are available here and are due by Friday, April 14.
