Mildred Ann Moeller, 89, of Greensburg passed away on April 1, 2016. She was born on March 1, 1927, in Cincinnati, Ohio, the daughter of Edward and Adelaide Enxel Welage. Mildred was a 1945 graduate of Greensburg High School. She married Walter Moeller on November 23, 1950 in Greensburg, Indiana. She worked for Chas H. Johnson Sons and later in the cafeteria at the Greensburg Schools for over 10 years. Mildred was a member of the Greensburg Senior Center, Bunco Club, Daughters of Isabella, and the St. Mary’s Catholic Church; she helped cook for the funeral meals and also helped in the Church office.
Survivors include: Daughters- Teresa Bavender, Mary Beth (Roger) Wenning, Martha (Jim) Fisher, and Ruth (Mark) Haeufle; Sons- Vincent (Pat) Moeller, Mark (Gaye) Moeller, and Dan Moeller; Sister- Marjorie (Wayman) Mahan; Brother- Roger (Mary Ann) Welage and Vincent (Phyllis) Welage; 15 Grandchildren and 15 Great Grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her: Parents; Husband; Brothers- Robert Welage, Richard Welage, Edward Welage, and Leonard Welage; Sister- Marie Oliger.
A Rosary will be prayed, Tuesday, April 5, 2016 at 3:00 pm followed by a visitation for family and friends from 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm at the Gilliland-Howe Funeral Home, 110 E. North Street, Greensburg. Funeral Mass will be Wednesday, April 6, 2016 at the St. Mary’s Catholic Church at 1:00 pm. Father John Meyer will be officiating. Burial will follow at the St. Mary’s Cemetery. Memorial contributions can be made to the St. Mary’s Building Fund.
