(Milan, IN) – The Town of Milan is under a Water Boil Advisory until further notice.
A water main break on State Road 101 caused the advisory to be issued.
A boil advisory is a precautionary measure issued by the water utility to alert customers when there is a potential for compromised water quality.
It is recommended that you boil all water used in the preparation of food and beverages for consumption for two minutes.
Water used for laundry, showering, shaving, and watering grass or plants is safe to use without boiling.
