Milan won 2-0 Monday in girls soccer at Southwestern. It was scoreless at the end of the first 40 minutes.
Indians scoring information was not reported.
Southwestern coach Nancy Totten said, “The game was still 0-0 halfway through the second half. Milan scored a short time later and then once again in the dim light with two minutes to go. I was very proud of our whole team and their play. They played and worked well together. Julia Worcester and Kaylee Deweese did a great job controlling the middle of the field.”
We thank coach Totten for the information.
