In a Monday boys soccer match at Greensburg, the host Pirates fell 8-1 to Connersville. John Robbins scored Greensburg’s only goal.
The win by the Spartans snapped a three-game losing streak. Jasper Martin led Connersville with three goals. Dylan Thomas, Ryan Naylor and Mitchell Steele all scored once. Cody Naylor had a goal and two assists. Nathan Reynolds had a goal and one assist while Nolan Shawl had two assists. Keeper Tyler Garrett gave up 1 goal with 10 saves.
