Batesville, IN—Mayor Mike Bettice has officially declared May 2020 Foster Care Month in an official proclamation.
In the state of Indiana, more than 34,690 children were in foster care in 2018. The Proclamation states that the City of Batesville joins with the National Youth Advocate Program to thank individuals, families, and public and private organizations who provide support, affection, love, and security to the children in their care, and we welcome this opportunity to share the message that we are always in need of caring foster parents.
