
On March 1, 1950, Mary married H. Gayle Coombs, and together they had two children, Brenda and Roger. A devoted homemaker, she found joy in caring for her family and home. She was a member of the First Baptist Church and an original member of the Kitchen Kookies Homemakers Club. Mary had a passion for gardening, cooking, and tending to her flowers, which brought her great happiness throughout her life.
She is survived by her daughter, Brenda Clark; her son, Roger (Mary) Coombs; grandchildren, Anita (Ryan) Lawrence, Taylor (Peter) Nikolov, Rachel Coombs, and Grace Coombs; great-grandchildren, Miles Lawrence and Arlo Nikolov; and sisters, Virginia (Bernard) Sedam and Ellen (Henry) Potter. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; son in law, Fred Clark and her brother, William Hubbard.
