Martin “Marty” E. Farrell, 53, of Rising Sun, Indiana, passed away Wednesday, September 6, 2017 in Rising Sun, Indiana.
He was born July 11, 1964 in Aurora, IN, son of Cecilia Barry and the late Ernest Farrell.
He served his country as a member of the United States Army.
Marty enjoyed fishing, playing video games and watch wrestling. He collected Native American Figurines and Dream Catchers.
Surviving are his wife, Sandy Farrell of Rising Sun, IN., mother, Cecilia (Thomas) Barry of Rutledge, TN; children, Ashley (Stephen) Thomas of Lawrenceburg, IN., Johnathon (Brandi Richardson) Hoeferkamp of Lawrenceburg, IN,; three step children, Kristina (Jeremiah) Fraley of Versailles, IN, Nathan Seitz of Rising Sun, IN, Gabriel Seitz of Versailles, IN; step brother, Brian Barry of Cincinnati, OH; grandchildren, Rylee and Johnathon Richardson, Evan and Gaven Bennet, Carter, Evan and Kevin Dozier, Eternity and Jayce Richards and Madison and Logan Thomas; childhood friends, Greg Gerke, Ron, Krista, Kelly and LaDonna.
He was preceded in death by his father and grandparents, Edward and Virginia Sierp.
Friends will be received Monday, September 11, 2017, 4:00 pm – 7:00 pm at the Rullman Hunger Funeral Home, 219 Mechanic St., Aurora, Indiana.
A private family service will be held at 7:00 pm with Pastor Shawn Crisman officiating.
