BATESVILLE, Ind. – Margaret Mary Health is immediately implementing an Influenza Prevention Policy and visitor restriction policy.
Hospital officials tell us they have seen a significant increase in the number of positive flu cases in the past 24 hours.
The facility previously announced it would implement temporary visitor restrictions effective December 15.
“We tailor the visitor restrictions to the flu activity in the area and this is what is best for our patient safety now,” said Rachel White, infection prevention coordinator at Margaret Mary Health.
