CLEVELAND – Johnny Football was no match in his starting debut against Cincinnati as the Bengals cruised to 30-0 win.
Browns quarterback Johnny Manziel struggled in his highly anticipated NFL starting debut as he tossed for 80 yards and threw two interceptions.
Cincinnati’s defense held the Browns to 107 yards total Sunday. The Bengals thrived on the ground as running back Jeremy Hill rushed for 148 yards and a pair of touchdowns. Running back Rex Burkhead put the put the nail in the coffin with a touchdown late in the fourth quarter.
Last month, the Browns rolled over the Bengals at Paul Brown Stadium 24-3 on November 6.
Cincinnati’s record improves to 9-4-1 and will host the 10-3 Denver Broncos next Sunday in the final home game of the regular season.
