Farmers Retreat, IN — A man was flown to the hospital after suffering an accidental gunshot wound just after 2 am Sunday on the 14,000 block of Nolte Road near the Farmers Retreat area of Dearborn County’s Caesar Creek Township.
The Dearborn County Sheriff’s Office, Friendship Volunteer Fire Department, and Ripley County EMS responded and helped set up the landing zone for the Air Care helicopter.
The victim was taken by Air Care to the University of Cincinnati Medical Center.
There’s no word on his name or condition.
