Paula Diane Walston, 82, of Aurora, Indiana, passed away Sunday, June 27, 2021.
She was born November 23, 1938, in Cincinnati, OH, daughter of the late Clyde Schwab and Regina (Steele) Schwab.
Diane worked in assembly for Campbell Hausfeld, retiring after several years of service.
She was a member of the Aurora Church of Christ and a Former Eastern Star member.
Diane was an avid reader and had an extensive elephant collection. She loved to camp and spend time with her grandkids. She enjoyed being around people and did not know a stranger. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
Diane is survived by her children Kenneth E (Diana) Walston II of Moores Hill, IN, Kirk O Walston of Aurora, IN, Sondra Leigh (Greg) Manlief of Aurora, IN, Sam Walston (Tracey Bolser) of Okeana, OH. 10 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents Clyde and Regina (Steele) Schwab; husband, Kenneth Walston Sr.; daughter, Jeannie Brinkmann; brother, John Schwab; sister, Rita Fledderman.
Friends will be received Thursday, July 1, 2021, 5:00 pm – 8:00 pm at Rullman Hunger Funeral Home, 219 Mechanic Street, Aurora, Indiana.
Services will be held at the funeral home, Friday July 2, 2021 at 11:00 am.
Interment will follow in the Wilmington Cemetery, Aurora, Indiana.
