Authorities responded to the shooting death of a man who apparently took his own life near the Versailles Fire Department.
Emergency personnel were called to the scene around 2:15 p.m. Sunday.
First responders confirmed the man suffered a fatal self-inflicted gunshot wound. Officers say there was a firearm near the body which was in the parking lot of the firehouse.
