(Decatur County, IN) – Decatur County Sheriff’s deputies on Tuesday arrested 68-year-old Robert D. Ogle on a Child Solicitation charge (Level 5 felony).
The sheriff’s office says the arrest is the result of a nearly 10-month investigation led by Detective Ally Sullivan during which Ogle allegedly communicated via social media numerous times with a female he believed to be older than 14-years-old but younger than 16.
Ogle allegedly solicited the female to engage in some form of sexual conduct.
He’s being housed in the Decatur County Detention Center.
The investigation is continuing.
