(St. Leon, IN) – A significant portion of East Central High School is closed to public access starting today as they begin major summer projects to improve facilities.

Superintendent Andrew Jackson says the closure is necessary to complete the parking lot reconfiguration, and replacement of several rooftop HVAC units.

Doors 8 thru 15 will be closed and inaccessible to the public.

The high school main office will be temporarily relocated to East Central Middle School, and the Sunman-Dearborn Central Office will temporarily operate out of North Dearborn Elementary.

Visitors to East Central for summer programs will have to enter through the Door 17 athletic entrance, including those attending events in the Performing Arts Center.

Natatorium access will continue through Door 18.

Phone calls to the high school and central office will be forwarded to the temporary office locations

If the work stays on schedule, school officials expect to return to the regular office locations by July 21.
