Loren Gale Fogle, 84, of Greensburg, passed away on Wednesday May 25, 2022 in Morristown, Indiana. Gale was born October 14, 1937 in Bartholomew County to the late Clarence & Beulah Mae (Adams) Fogle.
Gale attended Burney High School. He served in the U. S. Army before settling in the Burney area for most of his life. He was manager for Burney Grain Company for many years.
He married Iva Dean (Byrd) Fogle on July 25, 1964 in Greensburg, Indiana and she survives. They were blessed with three children; Dennis (Joyce) Fogle, Gala (Scott) Wiseman and Gale (Cathy) Fogle all of Greensburg. He will be truly missed by grandchildren: Nerissa Royer, Christopher Fogle, Kyle Fogle, Meredith Fogle, and Ciara Fogle and great-grandchildren: Cora Royer, Ashton Royer and Vivian Fogle.
Other survivors include a brother, Richard (Debbie) Lozier. He was preceded in death by brothers: Donnie, Gary, and Larry Fogle; sister Joetta Fugate; and granddaughter, Laci Elizabeth.
Playing Euchre, throwing darts and IU basketball were some of his favorite pastimes. But above all else he loved cooking for his family and being together on the hill.
Visitation for friends and family will be Saturday May 28, 2022 from 9:00am to 11:00am. A Funeral Service will follow at 11:00am, all will take place at the funeral home. Burial will be held at the Milford Cemetery, in Milford, Indiana with full military honors. Porter, Oliger & Pearson Funeral Home has been entrusted with all arrangements.
Memorial contributions may be made to Our Hospice of South Central Indiana, the Hospital Foundation of Decatur County, or the Burney/Clay Township Volunteer Fire Department.
