(Decatur County, IN) – County Road 250 West in Decatur County between Base and Vandalia roads, and including Reservoir Road, will close starting at 9 a.m. Thursday, May 29 until Noon on June 10 for the annual emergency vehicle operation training.
The sessions are state-mandated and are held locally instead of sending first responders to the Indiana Law Enforcement Academy in Plainfield – which saves the county money.
The training is conducted 24/7 and while law enforcement officers are on duty.
Police from jurisdictions throughout the county plus EMTs are expected to take part in the EVO training.
