(Southeastern IN) – Area unemployment rates either dropped or held steady in March.
The Indiana Department of Workforce Development says Decatur County had the area’s lowest jobless rate last month at 3 %, which was the same as February’s and below the state average of 3.1 %.
Dearborn County was at 3.5 %, also unchanged from the month before.
Franklin County stood at 3.6 % in March, down from 3.7 in February.
And Ripley County checked in at 3.8, down from 3.9 % the month before.
