Dr. David Welsh was named to the American Medical Association (AMA) Board of Directors at the organization’s annual meeting in Chicago on Tuesday.
It’s the first time in a number of years that a physician from Indiana has been named to the AMA Board.
Dr. Welsh also serves on the American College of Surgeons Board of Regents, and is the health officer for Ripley and Franklin counties.
