COLUMBUS, IN — Legal Aid District 11 will hold a free legal aid phone clinic for residents in its eight-county service area on Martin Luther King Day Monday, January 17.
The district includes Decatur, Bartholomew, Brown, Jackson, Jennings, Johnson, Rush, and Shelby counties.
The free legal clinic for low-income residents will be from 3 until 5:30 pm, but registration is required between Noon and 2 pm that day by calling (812) 378-0358.
Those who call the phone clinic will receive a 10-minute consultation in which lawyers will answer general questions, offer legal information and give other limited advice or assistance.
