LAUREL, Ind. — Laurel Elementary and Junior High School received $1,000 from the Whitewater Valley REMC Community Trust.
This grant will be used for the “One Book, One School” campaign for students in 3rd through 8th grades.
Selected for this campaign is the book “Wonder” by R.J. Palacio, a novel that tells the story of kindness, friendship, compassion, and acceptance.
