The Batesville Girls Varsity Tennis team came up short in a close 3-2 match against Franklin County on Thursday.
Audrey Weigel won a three hour, three set match at #2 singles. Baylee Rohlfing and Corinne Stone won in straight sets at #1 doubles.
The JV was also defeated by Franklin County.
Batesville is 2-1 on the year (2-1 in EIAC) and will play at home against Greensburg on Monday.
