The East Central Trojans 3-year EIAC winning streak came to end as The Lawrenceburg Lady Tigers won 25-21, 11-25, 25-22, 25-21.
‘This was our first conference loss in 3 years, so of course it stings. Most of this senior class has never lost a conference game at the varsity level. But it was a great match by both teams. It was fun to watch and I was proud to be part of it. The girls scrambled hard and refused to quit. We made a few too many errors in critical moments that cost us the game. If you take those points out, I have nothing to complain about. I’m proud of these girls and I have no doubt we will learn and bounce back.’ Trojans Coach Cassie Laker.
