The 5th Grade St. Louis Cardinals traveled to St. Lawrence for an exciting game on Monday Night. Unfortunately, the Cardinals were unable to walk away with the win, losing 22-18. Leading scoring for the Cardinals was Rachel Suttmann with 8 points. Bridget Lohnueller and Paige Watters had 4 points a piece and Meg Ritter chipped in 2 points. Cora Roth set an aggressive tone for the game battling some tough inside players. Jaelyn Owens, Katelyn Rahe and Isabel Imel went after loose balls and created many jump ball situations. The 6th Grade Lady Cardinals picked up their 1st win of the season at St. Lawrence Monday night. Final score 17 to 14. Emily Schebler, Ainsley Sipples, Maria Voegele, Kenzie Maple, Lucy Abplanalp, Meg Ritter, Paige Watters and Isabel Imel all played aggressive and as a team. The 7/8 St. Louis Lady Cards traveled to Sunman Dearborn. We took home both wins last night. Two great games for St. Louis.
The 7th Grade ended with a score of 56-9. Scoring for St. Louis were Claire Saner with 14pts, Sadie Wachsmann and Catherine Streator both with 10 pts, Lea Cossentino with 6 pts, Rhea Miller with 5 pts, Izza Wonnell and Kate Weber both with 4 pts, and Lilly Schebler with 2 pts. They played an amazing offensive and defensive game. Nice job ladies they are now 11-1 on the season.
The 8th Grade had a great come back win over EC last night. Scoring for SLS were Claire Saner with 17 pts, Kate Weber with 15 pts, and Megan Bauer with 8 pts. The second half we were able to amp up the D and steal the ball to go down and score. We looked up the court and used all 5 players which over took EC in the end. Nice come back and grit ladies!!
