Lady Bulldogs Winners Over Golden Bears

The volleyball home opener at BHS definitely didn’t disappoint the Saturday crowd.

The now 4-0 JV still showed it signs of dominance from the service line according to coach Shelly Prickel.  Bauer #21 was the top server with 9 points and Shupe #9 & Stone #15 each had 6 apiece. While the duo of Bauer and Shupe led the pin hitters with 9 & 6 kills.

In the varsity match, the fans got their monies worth.  A five set match (again) showed the bulldogs finally starting to produce a little bit of offense to match the Strong Defensive side of our game.  We moved some positions around to get better swings from more girls on the court.  It made us less predictable and harder to defend.  It was a nice team effort to see the girls capable of moving positions and being productive as a team effort.  Macy Prickel #5 was a top producer with 2 Aces, 8 Kills and 2 solo blocks.

JV wins (4-0): 25-13, 25-13

Varsity wins (2-2):  25-21, 15-25, 25-20, 22-25, 15-13

The Teams will travel to Rival Greensburg on 8/21/17 for a 5:00 first serve.
